Implemented auto-updates which prompt the user to update the app if an update is available every 24 hours or when the app is reset. Added option to manually check for updates. Added access to support from the main app page. Added preview of recently created drops in both the tray and the screenshot section. Added option to turn off the timer during recording. Added global presets for camera size and countdown speed. Added new customizable screenshot section in Preferences (two keys per shortcut as a minimum). Re-implemented how hiding the dock icon works on MacOS and Windows. Added option to share the video on multiple social platforms (toggle “Skip video trimming after upload”). Added option of editing of videos on after recording (toggle “Do not open the video editor after upload” to off to preview). Implemented “Instant Screenshot” as an option that is true by default, if it’s turned off it gives you a selection overlay that you can move around and resize at will. New – Upload Clipboard Contents – easier upload of text and image content that has been copied to your clipboard. Shorten to URL (now available as a desktop popup). Re-implemented additional tools such as:. Added better and more clear countdown implementation. Significantly increased speed of screenshot overlay rendering. Added GIF recording for all types for recordings. New custom size area recording implementation, with camera included. When clicked, a list of items being uploaded to Droplr spawns and updates dynamically. Added a file upload indicator in the top left corner of the app.
